On October 18, the Rhea County High School Best Buddies chapter took part in their annual field trip to Topgolf in Farragut—a tradition that’s quickly becoming a favorite among students, buddies, and mentors alike. This year’s outing was just as exciting and memorable as last year’s, with everyone coming together for a day full of fun, friendship, and friendly competition.
As soon as the group arrived at Topgolf, the energy was infectious. Whether it was their first time swinging a club or they were seasoned pros, everyone was excited to take a turn. The state-of-the-art facilities made it easy for everyone to jump right in, and with every successful shot, cheers and applause filled the air. It wasn’t about who hit the furthest or got the most points—it was about the fun of being together and supporting each other.
A highlight of the day was watching the students and their buddies team up, celebrating each other's victories and encouraging one another with each swing. The day wasn’t just about golf—it was about making lasting memories and strengthening the friendships that Best Buddies fosters.
This field trip has become a yearly tradition, as it mirrors a similar outing from the previous year. The success of these trips has made them a highlight for the chapter, and it’s clear that they will continue to be a part of the Best Buddies calendar in the future.
A huge thank you to Topgolf Farragut for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment the group arrived, the staff made sure that everyone felt welcome and had everything they needed to have a great time. Their kindness and attention to detail helped make the trip a memorable one, and the Best Buddies chapter is deeply grateful for their support.
As the day came to a close, everyone left with big smiles and full hearts, looking forward to next year’s field trip. For now, though, they’ll cherish the memories made, the friendships strengthened, and the laughter shared on another unforgettable day at Topgolf.
